Testimonials
Dear Chris & Staff,
The renovation project at St. Mary Parish in Westphalia has been one of not only physical
change but spiritual growth with in our community. In our first phase of planning our
committee researched a number of renovation specialist in Church design and grew
increasingly frustrated with their lack of attention paid to our needs and fiscal requests. The Design professionals on our committee while climbing this uphill battle felt like we
were at our last straw when ironically a visitor came to our parish for a Wedding. Shortly
after his visit to our community we were contacted by this visitor regarding his expertise
and artistic talents. It was as though God had sensed our growing frustration with this
project and its possible failure without his intervention. After meeting with Chris Moran
and his staff we felt the comfort of not only having our needs be heard but felt the
security that fiscally he was respecting our budgetary guidelines. How corny it sounds,
but it was though it was a match made in Heaven, literally.
As the planning process progressed, Chris was there every step of the way to assist us
with the fine details. WIth his patience and artistic guidance our committee was able to
make the renovation transition very easily. From planning, implementing, to completion
of the project, Chris Moran and his staff were exceptional to work with.
Not only handling the committee issues but interacting with the curious parishioners who
wandered in to check on their progress, Chris always made each one feel that they were
an important part of the success of this renovation and gave them personal ownership.
Many times even if it meant longer hours in a day to meet with him and make
adjustments in the details or address issues that came up unexpectedly.
To take one word to describe the talent of the Moran's Art Studio staff, artistic is not an adequate
word. The most important element that made this project successful was the Moran's Art Studio and staff has a sense of spirituality in their artistry like no other. A painter is
only a painter with a brush and color, but spiritual artists are influenced and guided by
much more than his tools in hand. 1bis was definitely played out in the beautifully
designed elements in our Church that were enhanced by their talents.
Thank you for making our renovation such a success.
Sincerely,
Jill M. Rademacher
St Mary's Renovation Committee Chairperson
Dear Chris,
I want to thank you for your art enhancement on the interior of St. Mary Church in
Westphalia, Michigan. You and all your workers worked together to make the
final product absolutely beautiful. There are an overwhelming number of people
who feel the same way. Since the project was finished, I have not heard one
negative comment.
It has been enjoyable knowing you and working with you. I wish you success in your future projects.
In God's peace,
Fr. Cecilio Reyna
Dear Chris,
As always I am very pleased with your work. That
applies as well for the many projects which you have done in several
parishes of the Kalamazoo Diocese over the past several years. I appreciate
not only your highly skilled artistry but also your sensitivity to many
people's difficulty in accepting any change especially in their churches.
Your sensitivity and tactfulness have made it easier for pastors and
parishioners to appreciate the finished project. Keep up your excellent
work.
Yours Truly in Christ.
Most Reverend James A. Murry
Bishop Emeritus of Kalamazoo
